Firm Studio is a small, tightly-knit team of disciplined thinkers that help domain experts from various backgrounds in compliance (think audit, tax, advisory, etc) launch new products to their current client base. We are a mixed bag of people from various backgrounds. Some of us live in the Atlanta area and others live in places like New Jersey, Ohio, Uruguay, Romania and beyond. How we work:
We give our engineers context by helping them understand the customer so that they have the information they need to operate with a high-level of autonomy. We value outcome over output. Each MVP is teed up via our product manager + Figma screens to make sure everyone is on the same page. We work in 1-week iterations to keep everyone on the same page. We perform weekly retros where we identify 1 item to work on the next week that will make the team happier. Last, but definitely not least, we have a monthly team hangout (during work hours) so that everyone on the team can get to know each other and build relationships.
